Subversion for the Mac: the tricks to make it work

UMTS for the MacBook (Intel)

When I’m on the road, I am connected to the world via UMTS. That way, I am online everywhere, independent of a WLAN hotspot. You may ask which device and which software I use? I found out that the Vodafone Easybox is cool. It’s fast (up to 1.8 megabit per second) and as a USB device, it’s easy to install and use. As a driver, I use Novamedia launch2net, a software which uses the box very efficiently. The Novamedia guys provide an excellent email support!

MacBook is cool

Last week, I finally bought a MacBook Pro with Intel dual core processor. Wow! The machine is fast (6 times faster than my 4 year old Dell Inspiron) and the multitasking is so smooth that I don’t even notice it. Working on it is rewarding, and every minute for the migration from the PC was worthwhile.
