Define your architecture. Teach your agents to build it.
Stop babysitting your agents and start delegating: ship reliable systems again, even while agents write most of the code.
Where it goes off the rails
Your agent writes code faster than you ever could. But it doesn't grasp what good architecture and good code are, so it doesn't stick to your house rules.
- 1.The agent ignores your architecture.
- 2.So you sit next to it, watch that nothing bad happens, and step in.
- 3.So code piles up faster than you can review it.
- 4.So you hesitate to ship, and much of it never makes it to production.
- 5.So the productivity your boss expects doesn't happen.
It starts with a lack of shared understanding between human and agent. And sometimes the human side needs work too.
The learning path
Four steps, from a clear architecture to well-aligned agents working within your team.
- Step 1Trainings: multi-day iSAQB classes, online or in person. Define your architecture.
- Step 2Agent days: an optional, paid extra day after a training, for DDD and ADOC first. Teach your architecture to your agents.
- Step 3Archilab: exercises with feedback from a reviewer agent. Practise both.
- Step 4Cohorts: from 2027, in English. Learn it together with others.

Hi, I'm Matthias
I've been a developer, a consultant and, for the last twelve years, a trainer for software architects. By my estimate, more than 2,500 architects have been through my iSAQB trainings, and I wrote the 500-page SWARC4AI book.
Rules files and skill collections are generic. I show you how you and your agents build a shared understanding of your system, on principles that proved themselves long before agents existed. You decide the architecture; your agents help as sparring partners and build the artefacts, until your model becomes the mould for a software foundry.
